Terms & Conditions

Effective from: [April 2026]

These Terms & Conditions apply to all Boogie Bairns classes, events, and activities. By completing your online registration and attending a class, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to the following.

1. Supervision and Responsibility

All children attending Boogie Bairns remain the responsibility of their carer or accompanying adult at all times. Our sessions are designed for adults to enjoy with their children, so you agree to remain involved and participate at all times. You must remain on the premises throughout the session and supervise your child closely, including during play, transitions, and any refreshments. Except where negligence by Boogie Bairns is proven, participation is entirely at your own risk.

2. Health, Illness and Medical Conditions

To protect the wellbeing of all families, please do not attend if your child has any contagious illness. Children must be free from sickness and diarrhoea for at least 48 hours before returning. If you or your child become unwell during a class, inform the class leader immediately. Any medical conditions, allergies, or relevant information for you or your child should be provided at the time of booking and updated as needed. All information is treated confidentially.

3. Public Health Measures

Boogie Bairns follows current Scottish Government guidance relating to public health, including Covid-19 and other infectious diseases. Class formats or procedures may change if required for safety, and any updates to these Terms & Conditions will be applied accordingly.

4. Hygiene and Safety

We maintain high standards of hygiene and appreciate your support in keeping the environment safe. Food should not be eaten during the session or on the mats; please enjoy any snacks only after the class and away from the activity area. Hot drinks and food can pose risks to young children, so these must be kept off the mats and consumed separately. Children must be always supervised closely with any food or drink.

5. Arrival – Time Keeping

Please arrive around ten minutes before your session begins to give your child time to settle into the space. Late arrivals can be disruptive for the group, so we really appreciate your punctuality.

6. Payments and Bookings

All bookings must be made through our online system Class for Kids, and your place is only confirmed once full payment has been received. If you require an alternative payment arrangement, please contact us directly. Your booking is accepted on the basis of these Terms & Conditions.

7. Changes to Classes and Venues

Class times or venues may occasionally change due to operational requirements or low numbers. We will always try to offer a suitable alternative but cannot guarantee availability. If you request a change of class, we will do our best to accommodate you, subject to space.

8. Adverse Weather

If severe weather prevents a venue from opening or a class leader from travelling safely, we will notify you as soon as possible. A catch-up session or credit will be offered. If the venue remains open and the class goes ahead, no credit will be issued for non-attendance.

9. Cancellation by Boogie Bairns

If Boogie Bairns is forced to cancel a class for any reason, it will be rescheduled or a refund or credit will be applied to your account.

10. Refund Policy

Boogie Bairns does not offer refunds for missed sessions. When a space is booked online, it is reserved exclusively for you and is therefore unavailable to other families; for this reason, we cannot refund missed classes. We are happy to transfer you to an alternative class if you're unable to attend. Pre-agreed date changes and transfers, are offered solely at the discretion of Boogie Bairns and must be confirmed in advance.

11. Behaviour and Conduct

We expect all families to behave respectfully towards staff and other attendees. Boogie Bairns reserves the right to refuse entry or remove a participant if behaviour is unsafe, disruptive, or inappropriate.

12. Photography and Video

Feel free to take photographs or videos of your own child, but please avoid capturing other children without permission. If asked to stop, please respect the privacy of others. Boogie Bairns may occasionally take photographs or videos for marketing purposes, both online and offline. Children will never be fully named. If you do not consent to your child being included, please indicate this on your booking form.

12. Social Media

Boogie Bairns uses platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok to share updates and content. We cannot control the actions of third parties, including other parents, on social media.

13. Copyright and Intellectual Property

All Boogie Bairns branding, logos, illustrations, class content, and photography are the property of Boogie Bairns and may not be reproduced in any form without written permission. Anyone attempting to film or reproduce class content for distribution will be asked to stop and may be removed from the class. Boogie Bairns is not responsible for the actions of third parties who may breach this clause.

14. Valuables and Personal Property

Boogie Bairns accepts no liability for loss or damage to personal belongings, including prams and buggies, whether inside or outside the venue. All items are left at your own risk. Keep valuables with you in the hall at all times.

15. Baby Changing and Nappy Disposal

Please use a changing mat or designated baby-changing facilities and avoid changing babies on elevated surfaces such as tables, chairs, or stages. Used nappies should be taken home unless a nappy bin is provided.

16. Stickers and Small Items

Stickers may be offered as a reward at the end of a session. As these can pose a choking hazard, children must be supervised closely. If you prefer your child not to receive a sticker, please inform the class leader.

17. Data Protection (UK GDPR)

Boogie Bairns complies with UK GDPR and collects only the information necessary to run classes safely and effectively. Personal data is stored securely and never shared with third parties except where required by law. You may request access to or deletion of your data at any time. For full details, please refer to our Privacy Policy.

18. Accessibility and Additional Support Needs

We aim to be inclusive and accessible. If you or your child have additional support needs, please contact us so that reasonable adjustments can be considered.

19. Emergency Procedures

In the event of an emergency or evacuation, please follow all instructions from Boogie Bairns staff and venue personnel.

20. Questions, Feedback and Complaints

We hope you enjoy your Boogie Bairns experience. If you have any questions, feedback, or concerns, please contact us at hello@boogiebairns.com

21. Liability

Except where caused by proven negligence or breach of duty by Boogie Bairns or its staff, participation in classes is entirely at your own risk.

22. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Scotland.
